Sorin CristoloveanuSorin Cristoloveanu received the PhD (1976) and the Doctorat ès-Sciences (1981) from Grenoble Institute of Technology. He is Director of Research CNRS, Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of ECS, Distinguished Lecturer of the Electron Device Society, and Editor of Solid-State Electronics. He authored more than 1,100 contributions in the area of electrical characterization and modeling of semiconductor materials and devices. His work is mainly focused on SOI technology and innovative MOS devices for memory and sharp switching. He is the recipient of the IEEE Andy Grove award 2017.
